Congratulations to The Chibistan Trust, the latest great charity to achieve the Quality Mark.
Quality Excellence Framework
The Chibistan Trust was originally founded in Birmingham UK, by a trust deed dated 3rd March 2006. Formed to continue the work of helping the affectees of Pakistan's earthquake of 2005, it regrettably, became dormant after a couple of years.
In December 2018 it was resurrected by a new trust deed.; and became a registered charity with the The Charity Commission for England and Wales in August 2019, The trust is funded primarily by donations by our philanthropic trustees and their businesses, family and friends, and people from the world over who share a mutual vision for a better world.
Today, The Chibistan Trust is a charity that strives to help mankind in Pakistan and surrounding areas. The Trust's objects state:
'To provide for the relief of poverty and those in need, primarily, but not exclusively those living in the Indian sub-continent, by making grants for the provision of medical care, social welfare and housing, including disaster relief'.
The trust is active in grant-making and playing its part in creating the utopian vision (see homepage) for Chibistan by helping in education, healthcare, social welfare and housing.
However, its primary focus is on providing free healthcare not just in Chibistan, but throughout Pakistan. It has set itself the lofty goal of providing free primary healthcare centres in every neighbourhood of every major town and city. Hospitals and other medical facilities are also in the pipeline. Funded primarily by the Trust, this project is run independently by the Board of Trustees of the Pakistani registered Chibistan Health Directorate or CHD. You can visit CHDhealth.org below:
